Today, we debut the new Owl Labs brand. The products we create are innovative, cutting-edge, modern, and even magical, but our original branding, while part of our heritage, was not leveling up to serve the moment we find ourselves in today. Today, we solve for the future of work, and that mission is reflected across the products, services, and features offered by Owl Labs. So, we set out on a mission to upgrade the Owl Labs brand experience, tackling multiple touchpoints including tone of voice, brand identity, our Owl symbol, and digital storefront, in order to deliver a brand that not only meets the moment, but also works to support the caliber of Owl Labs’ innovative and collaborative tech solutions.
To create our new look and feel, we partnered with award-winning brand company, Red Antler, based in Brooklyn, NY. If their name doesn't readily ring a bell, you may have crossed paths with their work unknowingly. They are the brains and creative muscle behind many brands we know and love including Casper, Allbirds, ThredUp, Supergoop, Birchbox, Zillow, and shopbop (just to highlight a few)
Our new wordmark is elevated by a modern type treatment. Our new owl symbol reflects the personality and approachability of the Meeting Owl, and appears throughout the system in surprising, playful moments. These hero elements are supported by textural graphics, and bold messaging to portray the uniqueness of our award-winning products and better communicate the value we deliver to hybrid workforces everywhere.
You'll start to see our new look and feel take flight today, across all of our channels, most notably our website (see if you can spot the small animated, easter egg-type moments with our new Owl symbol). We're excited to hear your thoughts and share more as our brand continues to evolve and meet this watershed moment for the future of work. We look forward to driving forward the Work-From-Anywhere (WFA) Movement and powering better, more collaborative experiences across the world. Give us a hoot on social and let us know what you think!
