This is the most traditional way to use a Meeting Owl and is a classic for a reason. By placing a Meeting Owl at the center of a conference room table you ensure that your remote employees can see and hear everyone in the meeting, keeping them connected to their co-workers. It’s the next best thing to being in person. 

Coworking Spaces

Unknown Charlotte in North Carolina and the Muskoka Collective in Ontario, Canada have both outfitted their coworking meeting spaces with Meeting Owls. The ease of use of the Meeting Owl makes it conducive to shared spaces – all users have to do is plug in their laptop, launch their preferred meeting software, and select the Meeting Owl as their camera and microphone.

The Classroom

Grand Valley State University (GVSU) put their Meeting Owl into “bat mode” and mounted it from the ceiling of one of their classrooms! Senior director of innovation and research at GVSU, Erik Kunnen uses this Meeting Owl to help iterate on active learning and remote learner engagement – holy effective hybrid-learning, batman. 

The Courtroom

Mercer County, West Virginia put a Meeting Owl in their courtroom to provide more clarity for remote participants. 

Town Halls

The town of Southborough, Massachusetts has integrated its Meeting Owl into local government meetings. While the Owl isn’t running for office yet, it is helping the Southborough community stay connected with their elected officials.
