Sometimes at work, it feels like it's a competition of who can sound the smartest in meetings (Sarah Cooper, am I right?): Who has the best slides, who has the most meetings, whose shoes click the loudest when they walk down the office halls?
No? That's just me? Cool.
Meetings play a major role in the workplace and we've all felt some things about them. Here are some hilarious tweets about meetings that many of us can relate to.

I'm running late for a meeting but don't have contact info for the dude I'm meeting. But, if you're him and you follow me on Twitter I'll be there in 7 minutes

Disrespectful of my coworkers to ask for meetings today when they know I need to sit here and refresh Twitter all day to read exit polls which are rarely reliable and will just add to my stress levels. pic.twitter.com/E9sgI3wxRo

I had like 19639022368393 meetings at complexcon. I don't wanna talk anymore for a few months.

I call it "a meeting" when it's a waste of time, collaboration when it's useful; a "requirement" when I disagree, a good idea when I like it; "process" when I hate doing it, the way we work when it makes sense. Probably too cynical. Too many mandatory backlog grooming meetings.

👩🏻💻 designers can focus
⌛️ less time wasted in meetings
🌟 more time to think = more thoughtful feedback
✒️ everything documented in writing to revisit/catch up
📍encourages being extra clear when asking for/giving feedback
Love walking meetings. Might need to make a "thing" out of it. Currently in one with @karenrubin

The NOTW is welcome to hack my phone. 200 desperate messages from suits saying "Rory, where are you? The meeting started half an hour ago!"

Where can you go to hear the words "dongle" and "spatchcock" in the same meeting? @wcgworld's ATX staff meeting; that's where. @AaronStrout
